Private Swimming Pool
Sleeps 6
Located in the heart of the Quercy Regional Natural Park, just outside the village of Lugagnac,
this exceptional spacious and airy house is surrounded by 3 acres of land with a breathtaking view. It is located just one mile of Limogne-en-Quercy (popular local & truffle market with local facilities) and
minutes from the beautiful village of Saint-Cirq Lapopie and the river valley of France.
Built in the typical 'Quercynois' style with local white stone,'Les Igailloux' is a fully and tastefully restored 120 years old stone cottage. It has many original features such as two large chimneys, a 'Souillarde',
original oak beams throughout and enjoys all the modern facilities.
Description
Interior
This stone house can easily accommodate six people due to the exceptional size of the three bedrooms.
The Front door leads to a very large Living room / Lounge area (~400ft2/38m2) with an impressive
chimney and a side 'Souillarde' - old stone carved water basin room- and there is also
a Piano for the musicians!

Four downstairs steps lead to a large dining room and fully-equipped open-plan
kitchen (~370ft2/35m2) with another impressive
chimney - an alternative for winter wood-roasts when the outdoor BBQ/Summer Kitchen is not an option.
The kitchen features gas hob & oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Basic food
and cleaning product will be provided as well as tea towels.

From the Lounge area, a wooden staircase heads to an upstair hallway, off of
which all rooms and toilets can be accessed:
-One master bedroom (~345ft2/38m2) with a large double bed and
ensuite bathroom with bath, washbasin and toilet.

-One Bedroom (~250ft2/24m2) at the opposite of the house with two single beds which can be joined if necessary.
-One communal Bedroom/Leisure room (~300ft2/28m2) with a large double
bed. There is also a comfortable double size sofa-bed if you need to accommodate
two more people in the room.
-One bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Exterior
The house is surrounded by 3 acres of private land with original shepherd dry-stoned walls and shelters. It has its own private car parking.
There are three terraces, one in front of the house, one to the rear and one which is under a massive lime tree providing plenty of shade for those hot and sunny summer days.
Here you can enjoy your meals while also enjoying an astonishing
view overlooking the countryside, and indulge in candlelight dinners
to the sounds and whispers of quercy nights. There is a roofed
outdoor summer kitchen and BBQ aera nearby where meals can be
prepared. If you are lucky, you might spot some hares, deers and even wild boars passing by at dawn or sunset, while resting in the hammock.
Local Facilities and Market
You are one mile away from Limogne-en-Quercy where you have a popular and colourful market on
Sundays, and a sought after truffle market on Fridays (during
season). Here you also have all other facilities for your daily needs such as a local supermarket, bar, restaurants, bakery, butcher, pharmacy and a newsagent.
